After nearly a decade of grassroots community support, we opened our newest branch, the Betty J. Pullum Family YMCA, in 2006 in Navarre. The support of local community leaders enabled the Y to begin programming in the area in 1997 despite not having an actual branch. The branch was made possible by a generous land donation from Bill and Jeannie Pullum and a lead gift from the Bill and Martha Pullum Family Foundation, supported by hundreds of financial gifts and as many hours of volunteer time. Open for five years now, the Pullum Branch is a popular gathering spot in this vibrant South Santa Rosa County community, offering opportunities for children, adults, families and seniors to grow stronger physically while connecting with others.

Membership at Pullum includes:

• complete access to cardiovascular center, including treadmills, elliptical trainers, upright and recumbent bikes, and rowing machines
• complete access to free weights and weight machines
• more than 50 group exercise classes a week, including body sculpting, boot camp, circuit training, Silver Sneakers, Spinning, step aerobics, water aerobics (seasonal), yoga, Zumba.
• outdoor family fun pool
• indoor basketball court
• free fitness assessments and personalized exercise plans
• free KidZone child care for children and grandchildren while you are in the branch (ages 4 mos-12 years)

Programs available at Pullum Branch:

• licensed before-school and after-school childcare at the Y, serving elementary and middle schools in our area
• summer day camp (ages 5-12) and Leaders in Training Program (ages 13-15)
• Voluntary Pre-kindergarten (VPK) licensed school-year program for 4-year-old’s
• youth sports including soccer, flag football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, martial arts
• swimming lessons for children (ages 3-12) and adults (ages 13 and older)
• Parent-Tot swimming classes for children ages 6 months-3 years
• dance lessons (ballet, tap and jazz) for ages 3-12
• Body Challenge group training program
• personal training

These programs require registration and have a separate fee.
