From the Director – Join Us for "Galactic Games"

Registration is now open for this year’s event, which will be held on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 8 am-2 pm at the track and field area of Pensacola State College. Thanks to Florida Power & Light, our Gold Sponsor for this year’s event.
The Games are an Olympic-style, co-ed team competition that celebrates health and wellness in the workplace while emphasizing teamwork, communication, and team building. We meet these goals through friendly competition in events that focus on togetherness and fun – events ranging from dodge ball and tug of war to egg toss and hula hoop. You can also flex your creative muscle in designing a team T-shirt and banner under this year’s theme.
The Corporate Cup Games offers a chance for you to show your company pride while forming stronger connections among employees. Once you’ve worked together on the wheelbarrow relay or the obstacle course, you’ll see your co-workers in a whole new light when you have a project together in the office.
To compete in all events, teams must consist of 20-32 members (at least 6 females). The Games are open to all local companies. Participants must be at least 18 years old and regular employees. Employee spouses are allowed to participate (up to 50% of a team's roster).
Team Entry fee is just $1,000. Silver Sponsorships are available for $2,000 and come with additional benefits. Deadline to register is Friday, Aug. 29.
We give 1st-3rd place awards to the top teams in each individual event. The overall winner earns bragging rights and the Oscar Brock Memorial Cup Trophy for the year. To encourage participants to adopt a healthy lifestyle, team members receive a limited Y membership.
