The holiday season is always a busy time with a lot going on - preparing for school breaks, holidays, travel, family visiting, and so on.

Stress management is so important for our health and well being during this time. Below are a few tips to reduce stress and focus on enjoying the end of year and holiday season.

Stick to a Sleep Routine

Sleep is essential for having energy to keep up with everything going on. Try to keep a consistent schedule of going to sleep and waking up at the same time so your energy levels are consistent throughout the day.

Stay Active

It can be difficult to find time to exercise during the busy season. Physical activity in increments of just 10 minutes are beneficial for our physical health. Try to find time in the day for a short walk, stretching, or a workout.

Reflect

The end of the year is often a time of reflection and preparation for new goals. Take some time to reflect on the past year, remembering the great memories and all you have accomplished.

Rethink your Resolutions

Remember to be kind to yourself and start small. It is okay to break your goal into smaller, more attainable goals to reach throughout the year.

Take time for yourself at the end of the year to keep yourself physically and mentally well as we go into the New Year!
