Program Corner - Camp Is Where Memories Are Made

Summer in Teen Camp is about more than just a way to spend the days while school is out. There are new experiences for the campers waiting just around the corner. Sometimes everything lines up just right — a unique trip, a staff member’s expertise, and the adventurous spirit the teens have can make for a great story, and an even better photo.

Rich, a dedicated staff member in the Teen Summer Camp program, is known for his passion for fishing and his easygoing nature, which makes him a favorite among the campers. This summer, he had the incredible opportunity to join the Satori Foundation sailing trip, where he combined his love for the water with his talent for teaching. While aboard, Rich eagerly shared his fishing expertise with the teens, offering tips, techniques, and plenty of encouragement. His highlight of the trip came when he helped one excited camper reel in their very first catch—a moment that perfectly captured Rich's impact and enthusiasm.
