Staff Spotlight – Meet Sherry

Sherry is a member of our engagement team, and you will see her most mornings working at the front desk of our Bear Levin Studer Y location. She has been on our team for 4 months now. Sherry helps out members by answering questions, giving tours, and welcoming people through our doors every day.

After she retired from her job of 39 years, she started taking fitness classes and working out with one of our personal trainers. She enjoys spending time at the Y, and wanted to be encouraging for other people to be active and improve their health.

Sherry adores her pug, Izzy, and she has been married to her husband for 49 years, and he has been a long time member of our YMCA.

Be sure to say hi to Sherry next time you visit the downtown Y.
